Hide and Seek, or Hide and Go Seek, is a children's finding game with two variations. A limited area of play should be chosen for the game.
- One person is chosen as the seeker and they must close their eyes and count to 40. Once they have finished, they shout "Ready or non, here I come!" The hiders must find hiding places during the 40 seconds.
- After 40 seconds the seeker will search for each of the hiders, although a hider may move around to avoid being found.
- In one variation, the winnner is the last person to be found. In another version, players must attempt to return to an assigned territory called 'home' once found without being touched, with the winner being the first person to get home without being touched.
