This trading card game is based on the Star Wars movies. It was produced by Decipher in response to the complexity of it's Star Wars CCG. Young Jedi was designed to be simple and strategically engrossing at the same time. It is based around the events of Episode I, namely, the Battle of Naboo and the events that lead to it.
The two methods of victory are:
- Planet Victory: Player wins if he takes control of two out of the three planets.
- Deck Victory: Player wins if opponent's deck runs out of cards.
